18 years of age or older
Education/Training
- Strong science background preferred or previous experience in nature instruction.
Supervises
Campers during nature activities.
Supervised by
Program Director, Executive Director
Specific Duties
- Nature is an ever-present factor and plays a major role in our lives. Its
splendor is a great gift, but we unknowingly misuse it. Therefore, knowledge
of the nature instructor is used to develop an informative program for the
campers.
- To be responsible for the Nature Center.
- To keep the equipment in good order.
- To involve the campers and Staff in concern for the ecological health of
the Camp.
- To facilitate special programs that emphasizes nature and ecology.
- To provide for the care and feeding of any animals housed in the Nature Center
and to arrange for someone to assist in the absence of the instructor.
Pay/Benefits
$200-$250 weekly, room and board, insurance
