Sports Instructor Job Description

Qualifications
18 years of age or older

Education/Training

  • Knowledgeable in games/sports activities
  • Prefer candidates with
  • Current Full Lifeguard Professional Rescuer CPR certification

Supervises
Any staff assigned to sports activities.

Supervised by
Program Director, Executive Director

Specific Duties

  1. To insure safety for all campers.
  2. To foster team spirit and fair play.
  3. To teach rules and skills needed to participate in a variety of games.
  4. To involve all campers in the sports class.
  5. To keep the equipment in good working condition.

Pay/Benefits
$225-$275 weekly, room and board, insurance
